Snehi is a non-profit community based registered voluntary organization established in 1994 committed to community mental health care. It has been working with people for their psychological well being through its community mental health programmes. Its primary objective is to serve communities and address the issues here to ignored or denied, or inadequately responded to by the society. On the other hand, this problem is increasing, alarming and going to be epidemic in our society particularly in metros. Even then, emotional and psychological health problems carry a lot of stigma and superstition in our society. It is not on the agenda either of government or on non-government agencies or people or any individuals. This is one of the most neglected areas of human suffering in our society. One of our main objectives at Snehi is to address this concern. Our main focus is to work with children and young people i.e. adolescents and youth .
